Palm Beach Memorial Park was purchased in December of 2004 from the SCI
corporation and is now privately owned and operated. The location was
envisioned and designed by Mr. Thomas Dyer Sr. in 1948 and erected in 1950.
Each unique piece of granite, marble, and stone were hand picked by Mr. Dyer as
he toured the quarries in the mountains of Italy. The base concrete foundation
of the building was built by the same company and materials that formed the
launch pad in Cape Canaveral Florida. The mausoleum and Masonic garden are
overlooked and said to by guarded by 2 statues of the Sphinx. These iconic
replicas were influenced by sole searching trip to the Egyptian pyramids.
After suffering tremendous hurricane damage in 2004 the funeral chapel and
indoor mausoleum were closed for over a year. In January of 2004 the
reconstruction and remodeling began. Over the years since then, the Palm Beach
Memorial Family has been formed by the best group of skilled individuals
available in South Florida.
We are driven by detail and perfection when helping a family that has suffered a
loss, or presenting our preplanning guide for those who wish to plan their own
arrangements. Anyone seeking professional funeral or cemetery care will surely
find both our staff and facilities superior to others in the area. Whatever
your wishes, religion, or customs, Palm Beach Memorial is designed and prepared
to fulfill anyone’s needs.
